Fifty years ago today, newly elected 43 year old U.S. President John F. Kennedy delivered his first and only inaugural address.  It began at 12:51 p.m. immediately after he took the presidential oath of office administered by Chief Justice Earl Warren.  Since then historians have judged it among the best presidential inauguration speeches in the history of the United States.



Sep. 9, 2009.Obama has suggested that the public option would be one way — though not the only way — to create a more competitive insurance market. And White House spokesman Robert Gibbs says the president will address the issue.
